I wanted to report that the K2 (#5230) with KSB2 SSB board and Kenwood MC 43S mic was used for my first contact with a local ham. He has a K2 and was interested in hearing my radio because he has never heard a K2 voice transmission. Said I sounded fine and the mic and board were working well. 73, Dale, kc9cwb
