Wayne, thanks for restoring the offset tone in REF CAL. Please work on increasing the SSB power output. I can get 1KW output on my amplifier with 28 watts from the K3 when tuning up. However, to get the same output in SSB the PWR has to be increased to 55 watts. The linear amp wattmeter is peak reading. MIC is set at 8, and 5 bars (6th bar sometimes flickers) are seen on the ALC scale. I believe I am using an appropriate amount of mic gain. CMP is 0. I wonder if there was a change in the TX EQ parameters in F/W 1.77 that caused this reduction in power. Is it normal to now have to increase PWR after tune-up to get a like amount of peak power in the SSB mode?
