Jon:
I used my K1 using 80 KHz for a few years and then
wanted to work higher in the bands so I changed it to
150 KHz. I enjoyed a few QSOs between 7100 and 7145
KHz. After a few weeks I went back to 80 KHz. It just
tunes too fast.

Most of my QSOs were made between 7025 and 7065 on 40M
30M is a good band also.
20M is also good between 14025 and 14065 KHz
I made a few QSOs on 17M. Since I have changed the
17M to 15M I have heard a few sigs there but not QSO.

I have K1 # 1423 since 2003. I had it set up for 40,
30, 20 and 17 M. With a 88' dipole at 35' , fed with
ladder line. This is a great rig, I will continue to
use and enjoy it.

I am waiting for my K3. I want more bands and SSB.
Good luck.
