If you're using WriteLog software, K3 bandswitching is a breeze -- Simply type the first two digits of the desired band (14, e.g.) into WriteLog, hit Enter, and you're there (14000). Want to go to an exact frequency? Type it and hit Enter. And, after you're there, you can even fine-tune signals using the mousewheel. Seldom do I use the K3 controls to change bands.
