If your using a sound card and PC you need to be in Data A mode on the K3. FLDigi will NOT do FSK mode unless something has changed in the last 3 months. It does have a "pseudo FSK mode" which you may get to work but it's not for newby's. Other than that FLDigi sets up just like any other multi mode digital program.
