Hmm... 12V at 500 mA is only 6 watts-- perhaps the 14 watts refers to the power drawn by the wall wart while supplying rated current. If that's the case, then I wouldn't use it for the K3 (mine with one Rx and no antenna tuner draws one amp. at 14V.)
