Hi, I am trying to get this device to work on my laptop without any success so far. The device is not recognized at all. I Installed v4l-dvb-kernel too. I can start em28xx with modprobe without any problem. When I attach the device all I get is:
Mar 23 21:44:53 laptop kernel: [ 5838.969388] usb 1-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 4 Mar 23 21:44:53 laptop kernel: [ 5839.104846] usb 1-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice And when I start the module: Mar 23 21:46:20 laptop kernel: [ 5926.118227] Linux video capture interface: v2.00 Mar 23 21:46:20 laptop kernel: [ 5926.160302] em28xx v4l2 driver version 0.0.1 loaded Mar 23 21:46:20 laptop kernel: [ 5926.160598] usbcore: registered new interface driver em28xx That's all. Even if I remove reattach the device I get only the two usb related lines above, nothing else. I am sure I am missing something (other kernel mods?), but I am stuck now and need advise. I posted the tech specs in the linuxtv.org's wiki (http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/KWorld_ATSC_315U) with pictures. Also the lshub result is there.
