There is perhaps something I dont quite understand about the
Emacs CVS repos.

I'm using:
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/sources/emacs

and building this results in a version that calls itself
22.1.50.x -- is that a "branch" or a "trunk"?

Also, is there something newer called Emacs 23 in the CVS
repository that I could be using?
