I just tested the hal_pi_gpio component in 2.8, Using the example here https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/commit/e0dc3a0bb9e9ff4b283f52586d505f4b9bcda60d
(the hal example all the way at the bottom) The only gocha for me was the hal GPIO numbering is the actual pin numbers of the RPI header (not the RPI gpio numbering) Figured it out. http://electronicsam.com/images/greenmachine/IMG_20191103_112558.jpg sam On Sun, Nov 3, 2019 at 8:22 AM Gene Heskett <[email protected]> wrote: > On Sunday 03 November 2019 08:45:28 Thomas J Powderly wrote: > > > Gene > > > > I trimmed your url back 1 level > > > > to http://geneslinuxbox.net:6309/gene/lathe-stf/ > > > > then i got the typical directory > > > > from there i could enter linuxcnc4pi4b/ > > > > and access the files fine > > > Which is exactly my observation here. > > > so it was only the link in the email ( and firefox-esr ) > > > > thanks, grabbing mage now > > > > TomP > > Shit Tomp, I just restarted apache2 because bingbot, yandex.com/bot and > semrush have figure out a way past my host.deny blocks and were using up > my upload bandwidth.
