For the parts that go in the hostmot2 fpga firmare, you can work directly with Peter Wallace. The linuxcnc organization still maintains the hostmot2 driver in linuxcnc itself, as well as the mesaflash firmware uploader, both of which need updates when hostmot2 fpgas get new capabilities.
