What I end up doing is taking the dxf from qcad, and read it into dxf2gcode. rotate, move as desired. Write g-code with 1 "layer" then edit the g-code, add my standard header, and make the dxf2gcode code into a SUB. Z-Depth I use as a named parameter, so I can go through and call that sub with whatever depth I decide on at the moment. -- I'm certain that there are better (faster) ways, but I'm learning G-code and my cnc-mill and so on by being kind-of hands on. PS - next machine is a little lathe like yours… up here in Canada there is a company called BusyBee that sells a little one that is not a Sieg, but an equivalent. That'll be 3 lathes with this the smallest in my workshop.
