Jon, I am not real familiar with the R2E3 but I have a Series II interact 2 with a fixed head. I have the Bridgeport manual that tells how to remove the head and motor. Before I moved to my new location I needed to remove the head from the machine to get it in and out of the garage. From pictures I think the mechanical parts of the head R3E3 might be the same once the additional extra cowling is removed?
