You can probably work around this problem by making the following change in src/emc/usr_intf/stepconf/Submakefile: -PYI18NSRCS += emc/usr_intf/stepconf/stepconf.py emc/usr_intf/stepconf/stepconf.glade +PYI18NSRCS += emc/usr_intf/stepconf/stepconf.py (remove stepconf.glade from PYI18NSRCS) The consequence of this is that you cannot work on translating emc2 on that system, because the translation files won't show strings from the source file stepconf.glade.
