Possibly, I am nit sure how much has changed in the last few months.
The main changes are in the Sketcher (which appears to be properly
parametric now) and the addition of the CAM stuff.
The Linux install-from-source instructions seem fairly complex but detailed:

A year ago I had never touched C, 2 years ago I had never touched
Linux. I then got an Arduino and wrote a couple of sketches, then
decided that I knew enough C to start looking at bits of the EMC2
source code, and added the 3-phase PWMs ro the hostmot2 driver.  I am
still not exactly fluent in C, but by staring at it long enough I get
there in the end.
