Please note that ALL bugs in E DR17 are currently low priority.  As most
(if not all) of the code will be scraped when the E re-write happens
everything is on the backburner and time better spent on the libs.
We can all identify with your frustration, but it's just one of many
reasons why we do not recommend people run DR17.  I myself run DR16.5 most
of the time.
