If we're going to see a point release of E16, I thought I may as well
submit a bug report or two. I couldn't find anywhere on the web page for
this sort of stuff, so please feel free to send flames/directions if I was
just plain blind.

At some point, I found E16 would crash if I produced a 1x1-size window
(by doing something like echo "P1 1 1 0" | display), but that doesn't seem
to happen now, so it was probably something else. Hmm. Non-reproducable
for now. I may find it sometime in the future.

If you run RealOne player (downloadable from www.real.com - arguably the
program with the greatest discrepancy between the view held on the website
and the quality of the programming I have ever seen) on any virtual
desktop other than the first one, really strange things happen. One gets a
rather trashed virtual desktop, with a realplayer-shaped hole in it that
still works, and all of the rest of the screen that doesn't update itself
or respond to mouse clicks. Something to do with realplayer's weird and
frivolous use of shaped windows I guess.

The third item is more a feature request than a bug report. The window
operation __A_RAISE_LOWER (which can be used in a theme) behaves a little
oddly. For example, say the action __A_RAISE_LOWER is attached to a window
border button (as it is in the theme I am using), and there are three
windows on the desktop. Windows 1 and 2 are disjoint, but window 3
overlaps with them both. My understanding of __A_RAISE_LOWER is that it
should raise the window to the top of the pile, unless it has nothing
already in front of it at which point it should lower it to the bottom.
Now, lower window 1, then lower window 2, then lower window 3. Now, if one
clicks on the RAISE_LOWER button on window 2, nothing (visible) happens.
This is because window 2 is "behind" window 1, even though they don't
overlap. I am not suggesting changing the behaviour of __A_RAISE_LOWER,
because that may confuse people who want it how it currently is, but
another option that does check for overlapping windows would be really
nice.
