I don't use anything to manage my session besides E, and the only time
I've ever experienced such problems was ages ago, and it involved
abnormal termination of E.

You need to try CVS.  The last epplets release is ancient.  And yes,
there will be a 0.7 release soon.  When I get time.

I'm sure you don't.  But as a developer, I do.

Let me put it another way.  I run 8 or 9 epplets on each of my
systems.  I haven't had that problem for months, if not years.  Thus,
it seems logical to conclude that those who are experiencing the
problem are doing something to cause it.

I beg to differ.  Not everything will always work 100% perfectly out
of the box.  The defaults are set up so that they work in the majority
of cases (or at least in the majority of the developers' cases).
