passed some Christian villages while shooting at people at the beaches. One baby and one young boy died and 3 mothers injured in that fatal shooting. Rumors circulated in Ambon that since last week Laskar Jihad fighters have arrived in that island. Analysis: It seems the terrorists are trying to escalate the tension by spreading the areas of violence to Buru island. We anticipate that they will create violence in small and isolated enclaves in small islands across central Maluku to justify an emergency situation in Maluku.
