>From one person (Josh Cowles) in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin a statewide dialog-event coordination has happened. He contacted all the know LUG's and asked if anyone interested in joining a mailing list to start a state wide LUG coordination. I mailed him back and said I'd help. Now it looks like some things are happening. We have a domain name and website.
http://www.wilugs.org I'm think this this is the first of it's kind. I'm excited. I know David Mandel posts the Portland meetings but I don't know if the other LUG's post to the other LUG's mailing lists about events. I like the Idea of having a statewide site and I think it would be a good Idea if other states would follow suite. Like orlugs.org for Oregon, walugs.org for Washington. Just thought someone might want to start the ball rolling in Oregon. The site can list all the events for the state. There could be a statewide LUG meeting. This is a grassroots. I love it. So when will I see a Oregon statewide LUG site? When he wrote I went wow that's a good Idea. The website is new but it will probally have stuff on it for each LUG meeting meetings and install fests and Conventions.
