Hal, you're right in assuming 1680x1050 should be 'old hat' for
PCIe. Unless you intentionally try to find some off the wall
card you shouldn't have any problems. 

Bob, you should be able to run other 16:10 resolutions.
1920x1200, 1680x1050, 1440x900, 1280x800. I wouldn't believe
everything your hardware tells you.
