I would like to suggest a Europython 2008 logo for consideration.
It's licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0
Unported License, and I've made available a zip file with SVGs, PNGs
and the OpenType Fonts used in the SVG. I don't own the license to the
fonts, it's just for viewing the SVGs. The zip can be found at

I made the logos in Inkscape, and there are two types included - a
square 'badge' and a wide 'banner'. The PNGs are rendered at quite a
high resolution, so that as little quality as possible was lost in the
rasterisation.
