Dear EuroPython organizers,
sorry to bother you guys with something about last year (les neiges
d'antan, really...). Last year EuroPython had a reviewed paper track,
and I (and others) have submitted papers and presented them, and
everything has been very beautiful. Now for the papers to constitute a
publication in the academic world, they have to be -if you will excuse
me pointing out the obvious- published in some form: for free, for pay, on paper, on the web, whatever. At this point, I am not able to find the
papers on the website, and thus I cannot claim that I have published
mine (and I cannot quote it in further work).
I can solve my *own* problem by plopping my stuff on my university
website -after a year, I would feel justified that it is not a breach of
etiquette- but perhaps this is a common problem, felt also by other
people. It could be solved in a very simple way by publishing the papers
on the EuroPython.org website.
If I am allowed to work on the site, I can probably do it myself (of
course, I would need access to the source material...)

   thank you for your attention,

      Walter Aprile

Hi,

the following is the list of all papers/slides from EuroPython 2007
I could find on my hard disk, which mean that I downloaded them from
europython.org at some time:

  BatchingAPIs.pdf
  DataDrivenParsing.pdf
  DecentralisedNetworks.pdf
  EasyExtend.pdf
  PythonInterfaces.pdf
  SprintingWithBazaar.pdf
  TradingWithRPython.pdf
  UnitTest.pdf
  UserTrackData.pdf
  ZODB.pdf
  multi-cpu.pdf
  present_EP_Silva20.pdf
  present_EP_dLCMS.pdf
  schluep2004-LCMSfinal.pdf

I don't think these represent all presentations given there. But
right now I cannot find anything else, in fact, nothing at all for
2007 on the website.

Like Walter I'd also appreciate to have access to all such material
for 2007 and ensure that presenters are politely, but persistently
reminded of providing the respective files for this year quickly
after, or even better, before the conference.

Regards,

Dinu
