The problem is that while you can demote a person, as the opposite
of promoting him, the word doesn't really move to promotion of
ideas, or usages.  In the computer world, it is common to use
the word 'depricate' -- as in "Use of the function apply in python is
depricated -- use ** instead."  I think 'Depricate the Use of Python'
would make a silly title.  Suggestions?  Ideas?
