Hi!
According to Guido the hotel's equipment is outrdated and won't
work with Google's. Plans to send a loaner system to Vilnius have
stalled on customs issues and support issues -- this system needs a
trained tech to install.
Guido has a web cam and a mike and wants to test out trying this,
I am hopeless when it comes to AV things, so I would like it if
he could try it with somebody else first.
Well, I think he might simply be able to use ustream.tv like I am
planning for doing the streaming. The question is how good this might
work on a big screen as resolution with such services is usually not
that high. The advantage would be though that it's then streamed to the
world (and recordable) automatically.
I cannot remember if Guido is a mac or PC guy but if he's a mac guy he
could even show slides quite easily with CamTwist.
So if nobody else knows a better solution I can try to test this with Guido.
