Hi all.

Here are the actions and decisions from the meeting on 30/12/2008.

= Actions from Last Meeting =

 * Most things were done except the wiki styling.
 * The announcement went out, thanks to Martin Hellwig.
 * Zeth has done the talk submission form.
 * mal tried to get the europython.org sorted without success.
<pinner> "Any more action on that will have to wait for Laura, I
think."

= Wiki =

 * We looked at the headings and decided we were happy with them.
 * We need to start seeding the wiki.
 * Individual co-ordinators (e.g. talks, keynotes, sprints) are to take
responsibility for their bit of the wiki.

= Talks =

 * Jonathan Hartley said he'd help with talks organisation.
 * Fuzzyman is going to email invitations to past speakers.
 * Action: Aiming to get said email out by the end of next week, when
people are back to work.

= Keynotes =

 * No response from Tony Hoare / Microsoft yet.
 * Cory Doctrow has agreed to do one on 30th (thanks Fuzzyman)
 * Action: Fuzzyman to ask Jim Huginin (though he's not hopeful)
 * Action: Pinner to chase Tony Hoare

= Sprints =

 * See http://wiki.europython2009.eu/Sprints
 * Action: Fuzzyman will also ask the potential speakers (see above) to
do sprints in his mailshot.
 * Action: John Pinner's asking people on the EP list to put themselves
down on the /Sprints wiki page.

= Publicity / Announcement =

 * Fuzzyman's getting us onto "some Microsofty calendar thingies"
 * Action: Jonathan Hartley to liaise with Fuzzyman and post on the
python.org/pycon.org blogs.

= Sponsorship =

 * Action: Quentin Wright will have a release candidate sponsors'
brochure available by 7th January.
 * If anyone has potential sponsors, they should contact them
personally.

= AOB =

 * Action: Quentin still needs to talk to the Conservatoire about
bandwidth.
 * John suggests 3 or 4 bonded ADSL lines.

= Next Meeting =

 * Tuesday 13th January 2009, at 18:00 GMT, 19:00 CET
 * Quentin suggests having an agenda item for Technical matters.

Bye all,

Nick Booker
