Not really, for PyCon UK and, I think EP 2008, there weren't a lot of
changes after we'd done the scheduling.

I'll go along with that.

If it's organised properly in advance, there won't be much to change
at runtime. Of course there will always be some last-minute hiccups,
but they can be minimised. And we can always get into the conference
interpreter's interactive shell ;-)

A note of caution (or GeekAlert): we have a system which works: it is
based on simplicity. floorplan would be a very worthwhile addition,
but that is what it must be - an addition. It must not compromise the
functionality of the basic system, because we rely on that to run the
conference.
