Yep, sounds like hopefully that's applicable. She wants to write a small item for her company website (presuambly: http://www.thefoundry.co.uk) about one of their people who is coming to speak at EuroPython. (Goncalo Carvalho, Python and Nuke)

Her email was on my original question, I'll copy it again here.

Hello Tony [She now knows I am actually Jonathan, but no matter]
I'm writing a small piece for our website on Goncalo's Europython session.
Do you have a logo that I can use?
Many thanks
Lucy

The PSF logo is not creative commons licensed. There is a special
PSF committee that exists to evaluate logo usage. The general
rule is that you have to ask them for permission to do anything.
You definitely have to ask them if you want permission to modify it.

But, there may, note I said _MAY_ not _IS_ a loophole if she just
wants to use the logo unmodified. So -- who is this person, and
what does she want to do with the logo? If we can grandfather what
she is doing under 'publicity for Europython' we MAY be ok.
