Hi,

Zeth has put an comments box on the website that sends emails to me.
However I think one person has mistaken the purpose of the box. It is
meant for those wishing to contact about having talks recorded or not
to tell me their preference.

I got the following recently.

Hi, my talk submission form seems to be rejected - pressing submit
just causes a re-display of the filled form - but there is no error or
warning message to highlight that something has gone wrong.

Hi, I posted yesterday a complaint that the submit form didn't display
errors in an accessible way. I do think this is still true but after
some closer inspection I found that the "homepage" form field required
the "http://"; prefix in the web address and I got it through.

In the submission confirmation I found passages such as this:

"3. We will announce the successful submissions on the 14th May 2009."

One might revise the dates or otherwise invite Pythonistas for a trime
travel which is fine for me but I'd like to be informed about the
traveling modalities right now and not in an indefinite future.

--------------------------------------------------

Does this make any sense to anyone??

Ciarán
