Just a note to say that generally speaking the times put down are almost
totally impractical to me. (I've put the times I can do) Before 6 GMT most
days I'm at work, and after that have family commitments into early evening.

Times that are more practical for me are weekends around lunchtime (not the
next couple for reasons I can happily chat about off list).

As a result, if you don't see me at meetings it's because of practicalities
rather than anything else :-)

Having read the meeting logs:

2010-03-04T21:03:02 <pinner> TOPIC A/V Recording
2010-03-04T21:05:11 <fuzzyman> Any word from Michael Sparks?
2010-03-04T21:06:52 <zeth> I think MS said that we has planning on coming
with his video camera
2010-03-04T21:07:05 <zeth> he is self-sufficient
2010-03-04T21:07:15 <zeth> so we don't need to do anything about it
2010-03-04T21:07:37 <pinner> aa_ : I have spoken to MS by steam phone, and
he's happy to do what he did last year, and even supervise a video team.
...

Just to confirm, I'm booked for the conference, and hotel, and will be
able [1] (in all likelihood) to bring the camera / tripod I did last year, and
can summarise what's needed to do it better this year.

[1] Now I just need either approval from work to come... (Which is not a
         foregone conclusion ... (60%-70% likelihood AFAICT ) )

What I can say though is this - if you're vaguely curious about helping or
getting involved with recording, it's *alot* simpler than you might think,
fun and useful. I'd never used a video camera before Europython last year,
and it's a lot simpler than you might think :-)

Michael.
