        Hi,
just a semi-related note, the change being discussed here was not for
Evolution (evo), but for evolution-data-server (eds). While evolution
project itself depends on the same version of evolution-data-server
when building (evolution 3.28.x requires evolution-data-server 3.28.x
to be built), packages/packagers can avoid this dependency, if they
want, even though I consider that a bad idea (sometimes new functions
are added to eds, then evo won't start claiming missing symbols).

I mean, when it's said that the issue is fixed in evo of version X,
then it somehow also means to use evolution-data-server of version X.

And when eds is updated, make sure the eds background processes are
restarted, thus the changes being done are in effect. That can be done
either by re-login, or, to be 100% sure, by restart of the machine.
Manual killing of them using `evolution --force-shutdown` might do the
trick most of the time as well, though some other processes talking to
eds can get confused by the them disappearing.
        Bye,
        Milan
