Okay, thank you. In the past we assigned individual permissions, but it
obviously became a chore when turnover occurred. We're really focusing on RBAC
and group driven delegation, but we've also leveraged automapping to cut down
time and efforts on manually mapping the mailboxes. We'll probably end up
leveraging that script or something similar at the time of assigning
permissions. Thank you for the confirmation.

No, it hasn't changed.

Some folks, indeed, use this as a method to selectively disable automapping.

If you do not want this behavior, then use something like:

Subject: [Exchange] Security Groups and '-Automapping'

We're running Exchange 2010, and from my research neither Exchange 2010 nor
2013 support automapping when granting a security group 'FullAccess' access
rights.

I cannot find anything about Exchange 2016. Can anyone confirm if Exchange 2016
supports this? Or is the only way to iterate over the group members and assign
FullAccess/Automapping to individuals?

Thank you.
