This is actually a well known issue in the Security Community. If you are running OWA on a IIS Server that is on the same machine as the Exchange Server, IIS runs its own SMTP Relay. This is very easy to fix. Simply uninstall the SMTP Service on your IIS Box. It is always good practice to keep Servers that are dedicated to different Services separate from each other.
