Wow. I run tests on machines from msec 2 through msec 4. msec 2 is where I prefer to run it when it's a workstation inside the firewall (NO services at all), msec 3 or 4 if it's a server inside the firewall, and msec 4 for when it's outside the firewall (regardless of server status). That's just a personal comfort zone, others may have different approaches. Blue skies...
