As I said, I very selectively read posts. One would take your words
to be completely in earnest without having read all the postings.
Rick used to ban people for a time from this group and I've just
recently starting selectively reading it. So a time out seemed an
entirely righteous step forward in what appears me to be sudden
civility in FFL. Tongue and cheek is when you say something in a
deadpan matter while you throw out clues that you're joking or people
know you must be joking. Not having read all of the posts perhaps I
should not have chimed in. But frankly, I've lost fear, water cannot
quench me nor fire burn me and frankly unless called on it, I'll chime
in wherever I go unless the spies are about.

I do belong to other groups which actually do have timeouts for members.

I'm not going to say my bad, cause I ain't bad and right now I'm not
certain I do bad things. It's really hard to stomp on yourself or be
disrespectful to yourself when all is yourself and that's the way I
see things right now.
