Crime rates in Iowa, 1960 - 2015 for major crimes. All types of crimes listed have increased dramatically in numbers and as a percentage of the population. Murder rates have also increased but are historically at low levels compared to other cities. Apart from the latter, it appears that based on the statistics, the MUM profs have no claim for an overall correlation with the ME. Their typical strategy is to cherry pick the results they want after the fact.
