The global celebration will be broadcast on the MaharishiChannel starting with 
Rashtra Geet at 13.25 pm, Netherlands time (CEST), andconcluding with the 
raising of the Flag of Invincibility in countries aroundthe world.

Maharishiheld Akshaya Tritiya, the Day of Lasting Achievements, to be one of 
the mostimportant days in the Vedic Calendar. According to the Vedic texts, 
this wasthe day when the ancient Rishis (sages) performed the first Yagya. 

Thisevent also marked the beginning of a time when people lived happily in 
tunewith Natural Law. The special quality of this day is expressed in the 
word‘Akshaya’ which means ‘undecaying’ or ‘everlasting’. It is a most 
auspiciousday for launching new initiatives and starting new activities.

Theperformance of the Maharishi Vedic Pandits on this special day awakens 
thesebeautiful qualities in individual and world consciousness.

Theglobal broadcast on Maharishi Channel 3 will begin at on 26 April at 13.25 
with Rashtra Geet, followed by global Puja to Guru Devand Maharishi Yagya 
performed by the Maharishi Vedic Pandits at the Brahmasthanof India and in 
Maharishi’s Peace Palace at MERU, Holland.
