No, I am not kidding; you cannot compare this time with that time.
All of the stuff, back then was hidden;
Now, it is out and about, for all to see and feel.
We have kind of become consumer pigs, feeling no pain,
As we buy our big houses at low interest rates,
And buy big Hummers at low interest rates.
Fill 'er up, fill her up, we can't get enough.
Well, that's OK, we just pay more for the oil;
In blood and treasure- who cares who pays for our unbridled lust and
greed; it's just those poor soldiers, whose karma it was/is to die
for our greed.
Who really cares?
The schools fall down, the churches are wrapped in razor wire;
The prisons are full of more people in the United States, than any
other country in the world.
Our cities are falling down, polluted with buildings which are made
to make money, not buildings which are for people.
Everyone is afraid of everyone else.
Try hitch-hiking and see who picks you up.
No one will- you could be dead lying in the street, and people will
just walk around you.
The God of America, is money: Look at your dollar, in your pocket-
It talks of God.
What a sorry culture.
Pornography for all; death means nothing; sex means nothing.
A generation built on lies, deception and all manner of nastiness,
and lack of morals.
Yeah, were doing just fine, here, alright.
Millions starving while others wine and dine.
Last three days, they told on the TV,
Just,  how Mr.Congressman;
Gets his rocks off in the men's room-
How important to know this.
Wow, get a grip?
Yeah, right...
