The latest upstream perl 5.8.8 Release Candidate 1 RPMs have been built for Fedora Core 5 / Rawhide and are available for testing from :
http://people.redhat.com/~jvdias/perl/FC-5/5.8.8-0_RC1/ It would be most helpful if those of you with FC-5 systems could please try them out and let me know of any issues .
