That's not necessarily so, Ron <G>  I have gotten really stung from  
just brushing against very small starter plants before  
transplanting!  One of the best antidotes to nettle sting is the  
juice from plantains which usually grows nearby.  Just chew the  
leaves up a little and spread on the sting area.  All the herbal  
books say to harvest the nettle before it starts to flower.  It's  
great added to spring "tonic" soups along with other spring greens  
such as dandelion.
