Well, I say, support the little guy, too!

I feel the service Nick Carter provides our industry is a great one, so I purchase things from him when I can, even though I may be able to find them less expensively elsewhere.

Good service comes at a price.

Having lost our only good local bookshop who really cared (and who could get books that even B&N and Borders couldn't because they can only order through their "distributor") when the two behemoths moved into town (my and my wife's business wasn't enough to keep them in business) I refuse to purchase things from Amazon or any of its affiliates!

Price ain't everything!

Those of you who might like to save a little money will probably be
interested in knowing that the Dover edition of the Berlioz/Strauss
treatise is available for $17.47 (30% off) at Amazon.

Great book. I learned a lot from an old copy I checked out repeatedly

from

the public library while I was in high school. I can still quote

passages
from it. I'll have to look for it at Barnes and Noble.

Hey, support the "little guy" I say!! :) I'm in the process of adding Forsyth and Berlioz to our online bookstore alongside Andrew's excellent Handbook.

Thanks to everyone for feedback regarding Ross
and the Gardner Read title.
