I have already Xcode 3.1.2

Do you mean the Fink compiling option for GCC/Gfortran? No idea...

Or do you mean how I compily my own source code? No, I've never met (or 
even used) such an option. I normally just use standard optimisation 
options. But I've now found out that these atom warnings only appear if I 
use the debugging option -g. Otherwise it's quiet.

But if it is really just noise maybe I should just ignore them...
