I haven't looked into this at all, presumably it is a one line fix so
sorry for being lazy.  The error is <filename.zip> not found.  cp
~/tar/*.zip sw/src/ fixes the error.

PS: The usermode stuff is working well for anybody who wants to test it.
Just add another dummy user to your system so you can't break anything and
tell the installation that /sw/src can be used for FetchAltDir.  Known
problems: upgrading to fink 0.9 overwrites the patches in lib/perl5/Fink,
bash tries to install %d/etc/profile as root, update-passwd exits with
nonzero status when run as non root.
