Try "sudo qmake" instead. This shouldn't give you these errors. qmake is 
linked with the Carbonlib framework, and it seems you have either to be 
root or own the Finder to be allowed to run it.

Aren't you the one who tries to run fink as non-root? You did this in 
this case, too? Well, it doesn't work as you can see :-)
