I did a ln -s /usr/bin/tar ~/bin/tar and then make sure I export PATH="~/bin:$PATH". I do this since I prefer Apple's tar which understands extended attributes and I've never had an issue with the "file changed as we read it" error. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (Darwin) Comment: http://homepage.mac.com/danielj7/publickey.txt iD8DBQFFvR6z4sDFGYouOqARAu2AAKCESiXVhFVlyU1u9TAeyINYaCPBXwCglCSp 0YUO/r/l/mdM6Vvf7ayS/6Q= =2Fsk -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
