Just a remark: This message shows that your /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.1.dylib was built on a system where /usr/lib/libXplugin.1.dylib was present. If you don't have the latter any more, you should rebuild xfree86.
OTOH, if you don't have Apple's X11 Preview for Jaguar any more, you can find it and libXplugin on a link indirectly referenced here: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/unix_open_source/gimpapp.html :-)
