Hello

I am unable to install any new fink packages due to problems with "sudo".

$ fink update qt3
Password:
<username> is not in the sudoers file. This incident will be reported.

I tried to edit my /private/etc/sudoers file using "visudo" but I run into the
same problem.

$ sudo visudo
<username> is not in the sudoers file. This incident will be reported.

$ su <username>
Password:

$ su visudo
Password:
su: Sorry

I have re-installed Leopard but the problem persists.

I am also unable to update Xcode since I get an authentication error.

Running make also fails due to the following error:

/usr/bin/libtool: for architecture ppc7400 object:
/usr/lib/gcc/powerpc-apple-darwin8/4.0.1/libstdc++.dylib malformed object
(unknown load command 7)
/usr/bin/libtool: for architecture: (null) file: -lstdc++ is not an object file
(not allowed in a library)

I wondered if anybody else may be having similar problems since installing
Leopard ?

TIA.
EM
