Hi, I am trying to compile g3data, which is in unstable for my new machine, an Intel MacBook Pro running MacOSX 10.5.4. Here is the info from fink -- version:

Package manager version: 0.28.5
Distribution version: selfupdate-rsync Wed Aug 20 13:15:27 2008, 10.5, i386

The error is an inability to compile gtk+2. I already had it installed from binary, but there is a new version in unstable that appears to be the problem. Here
is the info from the end of the compilation:

i686-apple-darwin9-gcc-4.0.1: /usr/X11/lib/libXdamage.1.1.0.dylib: No such file or directory
make[4]: *** [libgdk-x11-2.0.la] Error 1
make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: *** [all] Error 2
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

Failed: phase compiling: gtk+2-2.12.11-2 failed

Up to that point, everything looked more or less normal. I noticed several people had problems with gtk+2 in recent days, but nothing that seemed relevant to this error.
