I have resolved the problem,. configure got confused and only found one of 
get/set mntent, so the system tried to build a solaris version of isc_file.cpp 
on my Linux system!

There is however an error in isc_file.cpp at line 1478, as buffer and file are 
not declared.  This code is Solaris specific.


This now builds sucessfully.
