I reconfigured firebird3 as follows; ./configure --prefix=/opt/firebird --with-fbconf=/etc/firebird
When I start the firebird server I get # telinit run firebird3 start firebird3: Starting Firebird Server firebird3: success /etc/firebird//security3.fdb unavailable database I am not sure if this is because of the // in above message, or why it appears like that.
