I can identify with you on excitement in a different setting. The first time we took Tunix to a show at a covered arena the echo, PA system, clapping, all frightened Tunix. As I was sitting on him I could feel his heart POUNDING. Never felt that on a horse before. He did finally calm down & we did OK. For the casual observer he would have looked OK. My Zoe, who had been in a small heard of Fjord mares before I acquired her, came unglued when she saw neighboring horses for her first number of outings, they were lions tigers & bears. It took some miles for her to realize they are horses & its OK. I definitely feel that Fjords know their own breed & act differently towards other breeds. I have a new riding friend who recently lives nearby. She brought her fjords with her from Holland. My two like their new Fjord buddies >From Mary's iPad PLEASE REMOVE ALL E-MAIL ADDRESSES BEFORE SENDING OR FORWARDING THIS EMAIL.
